Kuja Dosham

Granting that Kuja Dosham is a factor whose occurrence should not be ignored, there are antidotes The exceptions are:
When the Mars is

in the 2nd it is bad provided such 2nd house is any other than Gemini and Virgo,

in the 12th it is bad provided such 12th house is any other than Taurus and Libra,

in the 4th it is bad provided such 4th house is any other than Aries and Scorpio,

in the 7th it is bad provided such 7th house is any other than Capricorn and Cancer,

in the 8th it is bad provided such 8th house is any other than Sagittarius and Pisces and

In Aquarius and Leo, Mars produces no dosha whatsoever.

The dosha is counteracted by the conjunction of Mars and Jupiter or Mars and the Moon.’

KAPU SURNAME AND GOTRALU: There are many surnames in the Kapu / Telaga / Balija / Naidu community in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu states in India.  Some of the very common Gothrams found in the Kapu community are Janakula, Mahipala, Paidipaala, Raghukula, Kasyapa, Dhanunjaya, Athreya, Achyuta to name a few and there are lots of other Gotrams.
