1- Rahu is the mythological demon.

2- Rahu is the head of Kaalsarp.

3- Rahu is considered snake in astrology.

4- The anti dote to Rahu effect is red color.

5- Ma Durga's upasana controls bad effects of Rahu ,Her significant color is red.

6- This point I am not having clarity, but i saw an English movie about predator snakes, every thing looked red to the attacking snakes. How scientific is this ,can't say. Just mentioning.

7- A developing room or dark room to develop negatives of photos red light is used in that room.

8-. A person with deep depression ( result of Rahu often) likes to sit in a dark room with dim red lights on.

9- A person under bad effect of Rahu during dasha or transit hates red color. They hate to eat even tomato salad ( cooked tomatoes n sauce excluded).

10- An ages old myth( again no scientific proof, but I believe everything that has travelled thousands of years to billions of people has some truth in it, may be scientists have not been able to crack it yet ) a dying snake captures an image of a person who kills it , which later can be seen clearly by the other snake in the dead snake's eyes as a negative image of undeveloped photo.

11-. People with Rahu in 5th or ascendant in Gemini or Rahu's nakshatra especially Swati are fond of photography.
